Family Tree Guidelines                 

 

  1. Must include at least parents, brothers and sisters, and grandparents.  Go back as far as you can also include aunts, uncles, cousins, and even pets.

 

  1. Be creative.  Your family tree can be on poster board, construction paper, or whatever you like, but make it look good!

 

  1. Remember, you will be sharing your family tree with the class on Monday, October 1.

 

Scoring Rubric for Family Tree Project

Family tree does not include the family members required.

Includes some of the family members required.

Includes only the family members required.

The family tree is very detailed.  Many family members and some interesting fact are included.

Family tree is plain andshows little creativity.

Shows some creativity.

Tree is colorful, and names are easy to see

Shows a lot of creativity.  Some pictures are included.

Presentation is not very interesting.  Presenter talks too fast, or is difficult to understand.

Presentation is somewhat interesting.  Most of what the presenter says can be understood.

Presentation is very interesting.  Includes some additional details about the family.
